Perks that enforce themselves.
At the cashier, on one screen, with your POS still running.
A perk says where it works, what it covers, which hours and which days. The server checks all of it at the scan, so the cashier sees only what is valid right now, and the guest sees the same answer in the app.
At the bar
20:01. Happy hour is over.
The perk ran from 18:00 to 20:00. At 20:01 the cashier's screen greys it out as outside its window, and the sale still logs without it. Nobody had to remember.

Scoped like the floor works
Pick the venues, the category (food, drinks, entry, merch), the kind (free item, percent off, fixed off, access), where it redeems (at the bar or at the table) and how many uses a grant carries.
Hours and days on the business day
A window can cross midnight, and days follow the business day, so 01:30 on Saturday still counts as Friday.
Once means once
A single-use perk is locked while it redeems. Three cashiers scanning it at the same moment get one redemption between them.
Change a perk safely
Every change to a perk bumps its version. A cashier holding an old screen is asked to scan again instead of applying stale terms.
Capped free items
A free item has a ceiling on what it may be worth; an uncapped free item on an itemised sale needs a manager.
Promotions at cost
Every redemption shows in the settlement report as a promotion at cost, against the venue that gave it.
Offline, but never twice
If the connection drops, the sale is kept on the phone and sent once later. Perks redeem online only, so a drink is never given twice.
Points and tiers
Points on the same ledger.
Members earn points for joining, an RSVP, a ticket, a check-in and a pass. Points on till spend switch on per organisation. Tiers are named per organisation.

Refunds and voids take their points back.
- Spending points, streaks and badges will come when a destination asks for them.
- Discounts by member group, applied by the till on its own, will come with the CRM discount resolver.
